Jefferson City hospitals have lifted nearly all their visitor restrictions.

SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital again eased restrictions on visitors Tuesday because of the decrease in COVID-19 admissions and reduced community spread, according to an SSM Health news release.

Visitors will be allowed without restrictions except for COVID-19-positive patients (and those who show symptoms of COVID-19), who will not be allowed visitors. Exceptions may be made for special circumstances, including end of life.

Visitors ages 17 and younger must be accompanied by an adult.

Visitors may continue to enter the Outpatient Entrance from 5 a.m.-7 p.m. Monday-Friday, and from 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. After-hours access will be through the Emergency Department.

Visitors are required to wear masks at all times, except when eating or drinking.

Visiting hours at Capital Region Medical Center are 6 a.m.-9 p.m., daily.

All visitors and patients entering a CRMC facility will be screened for illness and required to wear a mask or face covering. Exceptions include children younger than 2 who require care, and individuals with certain medical conditions (such as severe skin conditions or burns on the face) that hinder wearing a mask.

Visitors must also wash hands when entering and exiting a patient’s room.

Patients are limited to two visitors in most cases. Patients in the Emergency Department are limited to one visitor. Patients in the Goldschmidt Infusion Center may not have visitors, although exceptions may be made for patients with ambulatory and/or mental capacity issues. More details for individual departments may be found at www.crmc.org/patients-and-visitors/visiting-hours.
