Your Opinion: Anger and false accusations

Dear Editor:

The outright coverups and hypocrisy of the MSM and the liberals is astounding. The biased/twisted reporting going on in our country is causing most to turn off the TV and search for some form of journalistic honesty from sources like OAN or even Sky News.

CNN and MSNBC refused to even report on the Jussie Smollett trial because what was going on was an uncovering of the truth he staged his so-called "MAGA hate crime." Smollett knew if he invoked President Donald Trump into it, it would get immediate and frenzied coverage by all the liberals and their public relations media outlets and it did just that. Then-presidential candidate Joe Biden and vice presidential candidate Kamala Harris made their usual knee-jerk accusations of racial hate crimes, as they did in the Kyle Rittenhouse incident, trying to connect everything to Donald Trump and his policies. Any apologies coming from these entities? Of course not!

It's truly laughable but also sad all the liberals have on their side is anger and false accusations. They feign concern for the minorities and injustices when they are the ones actually perpetuating these things with their failed socialist policies and dividing us into the victims or the perpetrators. They want to continually pick the scab off of the wrongs of our past history and relive it today as if a civil war was not fought to try to right the wrongs.

Although things are not perfect, we have made progress in many ways since the Civil War. All that progress is being destroyed with liberal politics and the likes of Al Sharpton and other race-baiters who are making money leeching off of others' misery.

Justice was served when three white men were found guilty of the murder of Ahmaud Arbery. It was heartbreaking to hear his father speaking after the verdict. The guilty verdict would not bring back his son, but he appealed to everyone that all lives matter and we all just need to get along and live together in peace. You could see the disapproval in Sharpton's demeanor after the father spoke because he knew that meant his race-baiting activism was being shut down.

Our only hope is for God to intervene and open the eyes of the blind. Some readers don't like the invoking of God or prayer, however, that's the problem. Pray!
