Darryl Chatman named Ag deputy director

Darryl Chatman, a member of Armstrong Teasdale's litigation practice group, was named deputy director of the Missouri Department of Agriculture. He is the first African American to hold the deputy director's position.

While at Armstrong Teasdale, Chatman served as a litigator with a focus on ERISA, employment, intellectual property, and other business issues.

He is currently in the dissertation phase of his doctorate degree in agricultural economics at the University of Missouri. Chatman received his juris doctorate from the University of Missouri School of Law. He also received a master's of science degree in agricultural economics, and a master's of science degree and bachelor's of science degree in animal science from the University of Missouri. He also holds an MPA in public administration from North Carolina State University.
