Ready to jam?

Then head to Spectators, 232 E. High St., this Sunday afternoon for the MO Blues Jam. Typically held as a monthly jam session at various venues in Jefferson City to benefit the MO Blues Association, the events have been a bit more sporadic this year as the global pandemic caused restrictions on gatherings.

The events help support the association, which operates the Blues in the Schools Program, educating children on the origin of blues music and, in the past, bringing blues performers into classrooms.

The November jam is set for 3 p.m. Sunday at Spectators. The host band will be the MO Blues Jam Band.
