Melissa Renee Gossen and Stefan Balcer, both of Nashville, Tenn., were married May 19, 2023, at 14TENN, Nashville, Tenn. Alex Marshall performed the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Jude and Vickie Gossen, Scott, La.
The groom is the son of Dr. Conrad and Karen Balcer, Jefferson City.
Given in marriage by her parents, the bride wore a dress sewn by her mother using her late grandmother’s sewing machine. The dress featured a sweetheart neckline and A-line silhouette, with a beaded tulle bodice and skirt. She carried a bouquet of blue hydrangeas, baby’s breath and greenery.
A dinner reception and dance followed the ceremony at 14TENN, Nashville, Tenn.
A rehearsal dinner, hosted by the groom’s parents, was held May 18 at 14TENN, Nashville, Tenn.
The bride is a 2016 graduate of the University of Louisiana-Lafayette, Lafayette, La., with a Bachelor of Science-Business Administration degree.
The groom is a 2016 graduate of Mississippi State University, Starkville, Miss., with a Bachelor of Architecture degree. He is an Architect at Daniels Chandler, Nashville, Tenn.
After a wedding trip to Hawaii, the couple resides in Nashville, Tenn.
