Erica RoseAdonia Lawson and Carl Hollis Peterson, both of Springfield, were married at 5 p.m., April 16, in a double-ring ceremony at Thorncrown Glass Chapel, Eureka Springs, Ark.
The bride is the daughter of Melody and Robert Lawson, Jefferson City.
The groom is the son of Cheryl and Bruce Peterson, Omaha, Neb.
Given in marriage by her parents, the bride wore a white re-embroidered lace over taffeta gown with a fitted strapless bodice over floor-length floatation skirt. She completed her ensemble with an organza illusion veil trimmed in applique edging. She carried a bouquet of purple roses and white calla lilies.
The honor attendant was Andrea Lawson Viegas, Ft. Leavenworth, Kan., sister of the bride. She wore a purple lace overlay A-line dress with lace sleeves.
The best man was Davis Peterson, Chicago, Ill., brother of the groom.
The flower girl was Alexandria Viegas, daughter of Andrea and Will Viegas, Ft. Leavenworth, Kan., niece of the bride.
The ushers were Desmond Viegas, Ft. Leavenworth, Kan., nephew of the bride; and Michael Byrne, state of Texas, uncle of the groom.
A dinner and dance reception followed the ceremony at Bavarian Inn, Eureka Springs, Ark.
A rehearsal dinner, hosted by the groom's parents, was held April 15.
The bride is a 2004 graduate of Helias High School, Jefferson City, and a 2009 graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia with a Bachelor of Science, Business Administration degree. She is Property Manager at Cres Management, Springfield.
The groom is a 2007 graduate of Millard West High School, Omaha, Neb., and a graduate of Missouri State University, Springfield, with a Bachelor of Science degree. He is District Manager with Boy Scouts of America, Springfield.
After a wedding trip to Eureka Springs, Ark., the couple resides in Springfield.
