Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Ward, Jefferson City, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a July trip to Knoxville, Tenn., and with an open house on August 12 at VFW 1003, St. Martins, hosted by their VFW friends. Thomas Ward and Evelyn Hunger were married August 12, 1972, at Church of Christ, Jefferson City. Rev. Byron Corn officiated. They were attended by Pam Ward, deceased; Cinderella Morff, Russellville; Denice Higgins, Chula Vista, Calif.; Terry Ward, deceased; Bill Breshears, Orlando, Fla.; and Don Smith, deceased. Mr. and Mrs. Ward have two children: Thomas Zac Ward and his wife Jenny, Knoxville, Tenn., and Micheal Ward, Columbia. They also have two grandchildren: Pierce Ward and Foster Ward.
