Mr. and Mrs. John Doerhoff, Wardsville, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Saturday with a dinner and dance at St. Stanislaus Gym, hosted by the couple. A family trip will be taken at a later date. John Doerhoff and Linda Warden were married September 26, 1970 at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, Wardsville. Rev. John Long officiated. They were attended by JoAnn (Rustemeyer) Prenger, Omaha, Neb.; Ronald Doerhoff, Henley; Judy (Mormann) Bashore, deceased; James Warden, deceased; Margaret (Boessen) Bauer, deceased; Kenneth Twehous, deceased; Linda (Wolken) Limbach, Eugene; Larry Morris, Olean; Brenda (Todd) Schulte, Mary's Home; Sylvester Evers, Mary's Home; Kelley (Schulte) Engelbrecht, Eugene; Mike Doerhoff, Henley; Lori Ann (Boillot) Leivian, Bonnots Mill; and Doug Doerhoff, Mary's Home. Mr. and Mrs. Doerhoff have four children: Lisa Gerling and her husband Rob, Henley; Gary Doerhoff and his wife Ashley, Eugene; Julie Schaefer and her husband Travis, Taos; and Beth Kliethermes and her husband Aaron, St. Elizabeth. They also have nine grandchildren: Josh Morris, Jeremy Morris, Madison Morris, Blake Doerhoff, Avery Doerhoff, Morgan Schaefer, Braden Schaefer, Peyton Schaefer, and Ty Kliethermes; and three great-grandchildren: Lily Reisner, Dylan Backer, and Demi Holloway.
