Mr. and Mrs. Don Hentges, California, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a Mass at St. Martins Church, along with a reception and dinner at the VFW Hall, St. Martins. The couple is also taking a trip to North Carolina. Don Hentges and Lillian Haslag were married September 12, 1970, at Immaculate Conception Church, Loose Creek. Rev. Father Kevin Gormley officiated. They were attended by Dennis J. Hentges, Loose Creek; Caroline Haslag Hentges, Loose Creek; Bill Hentges, Jefferson City; Jane Hentges Donley, Holts Summit; Cecelia Hentges Radaman, Wardsville; Kenneth Radaman, Wardsville; Tod Brondel, Jefferson City; and Dolores Ann Schollmeyer, Taos. Mr. and Mrs. Hentges have four children: Dale F. Hentges and his wife Anne Hentges, Oakdale, Ill.; Cheryl L. Hollis and her husband Scott Hollis, Wilmington, N.C.; Janet M. Roling and her husband Joe Roling, Wardsville; and Julie A. Whitesides and her husband David Whitesides, Fulton. They also have nine grandchildren: Abigayle Whitesides, Sabrina Whitesides, Katie Roling, Emily Roling, Allison Roling, Sarah Hentges, Mary Elizabeth Hentges, Matthew Hentges, and Luke Hentges.
