Gary and Judy Bangert, Jefferson City, announce the engagement of their daughter, Julie Bangert, Lenexa, Kan., to David Teefey, Lenexa, Kan., son of John and Terri Teefey, Lawrence, Kan. A September 26 wedding is planned at Trinity Lutheran Church, Mission, Kan. The bride-to-be is a 2009 graduate of Jefferson City High School, Jefferson City; a 2013 graduate of Truman State University with a Bachelor of Science in Communication Disorders; and a 2017 graduate of the University of Kansas with a Doctorate in Audiology. She is an Audiologist with Professional Hearing Center. The groom-to-be is a 2008 graduate of Lawrence High School, Lawrence, Kan.; a 2012 graduate of the University of Kansas with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering; and a 2018 graduate of the University of Kansas with a Masters in Civil Engineering. He is a Civil Enginer with Kansas Gas Service.
