Rachel Marie Holmberg and Andrew Nelson Strong, both of Alexandria, Va., were married at 4 p.m., September 27, at the groom's family home in Chapel Hill, N.C. Rev. Noah Van Niel performed the double-ring ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Timothy and Cheryl Morrow, Jefferson City. The groom is the son of Jay and Mary Strong, Chapel Hill, N.C. The bride was given in marriage by Jeffrey and Pamela Holmberg. The honor attendant was Sydney Turner, Longmont, Colo., dearest childhood friend of the bride. The attendant was Catherine Strong, Chapel Hill, N.C., sister of the groom. The best man was Christian Strong, Arlington, Va., brother of the groom. The groomsman was Clayton Holmberg, Shawnee, Kan., brother of the bride. A dinner and dance reception followed the ceremony at the groom's family home. A rehearsal dinner, hosted by the groom's parents, was held September 26 in Chapel Hill, N.C. The bride is a 2008 graduate of Jefferson City High School and a 2013 graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia with a Master of Accountancy degree. She is a Tax Policy Consultant and CPA with Ernst & Young. The groom is a 2006 graduate of Chapel Hill High School, Chapel Hill, N.C.; a 2013 graduate of Georgia Institue of Technology, Atlanta, Ga., with a Masters in Civil Engineering degree; and a 2019 graduate of The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, Chicago, Ill., with a Master of Business Administration degree. He is an Investment Associate. After a wedding trip to Charlottesville, Va., the couple resides in Alexandria, Va.
