Lexi Renee Pursley and Ross William Branson, both of Washington, D.C., were married at 4:15 p.m., November 10, in a double-ring ceremony at Hilton Marco Island Beach Resort, Marco Island, Fla. The bride is the daughter of Matt and Anita Pursley, Dawsonville, Ga. The groom is the son of Dale and Janet Branson, Jefferson City. Given in marriage by her parents, the bride wore a white crepe gown coupled with a cathedral veil. She carried a cascading bouquet of dendrobium orchids, white roses and white mini calla lilies. The honor attendant was Katie McKimm, Naples, Fla., sister of the bride. The attendants were Erin Collins, Washington, D.C., friend of the bride; Kathleen Canfield, Austin, Texas, friend of the bride; Kaylee Coleman, Statesboro, Ga., friend of the bride; Suzanne Lambert, Washington, D.C., friend of the bride; Roz Leighton, Washington, D.C., friend of the bride; Morgan Joyce, Washington, D.C., friend of the bride; and Caroline Fletcher, Washington, D.C., friend of the bride. They wore floor-length silver/grey brocade lace overlay dresses. The best man was Chris Morland, Columbia, friend of the groom. The groomsmen included: Adam Branson, Kansas City, brother of the groom; Joe Lakin, St. Louis, friend of the groom; Jay Hahn, Jefferson City, friend of the groom; Mitch Halbrook, Jacksonville, Fla., friend of the groom; Mike Holley, Washington, D.C., friend of the groom; Chris Coffman, Jefferson City, friend of the groom; and Chad McKimm, Naples, Fla., brother-in-law of the groom. The flower girl was Kit McKimm, daughter of Chad and Katie McKimm, Naples, Fla., niece of the bride. The ring bearers were Clark Branson, son of Adam Branson, Kansas City, nephew of the groom; Caden McKimm, Colsten McKimm, and Chase McKimm, sons of Chad and Katie McKimm, Naples, Fla., nephews of the bride. The ushers were Adam Flores, St. Louis, friend of the couple; Seth Logston, Columbia, friend of the couple; and Ninio Fetalvo, Washington, D.C., friend of the couple. A dinner and dance reception followed the ceremony at the Hilton Marco Island Resort. A rehearsal dinner, hosted by the groom's parents, was held November 9 at the Hilton Marco Island Resort. The bride is a 2010 graduate of Chattahoochee High School, Alpharetta, Ga., and a 2014 graduate of the University of Georgia, Athens, Ga., with a Communication Studies degree. She is Director of Federation Programs and Operations at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, Washington, D.C. The groom is a 2003 graduate of Jefferson City High School, Jefferson City; and a 2007 graduate of the University of Missouri with a Political Science degree and a Communications degree. He is Deputy Assistant Secretary with the Office of Legislative and Intergovernmental Affairs, U.S. Department of Commerce, Washington, D.C. After a wedding trip to Jamaica, the couple resides in Washington, D.C.
