Christine Elizabeth Bangert, Lee's Summit, and Christopher Michael Henson, Kansas City, were married at 3 p.m., September 30, 2017, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Jefferson City. Pastor Ken Funke performed the double-ring ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Gary and Judy Bangert, Jefferson City. The groom is the son of E.W. and Zandra Henson, Fulton. Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a fitted bodice ball gown of champagne and ivory featuring a sweetheart neckline, natural waist, layered full tulle skirt adorned with lace appliques, and a band of scalloped lace edging encircling the hem. She completed her ensemble with a one-tiered fingertip veil enhanced with a delicate crystal and beaded edge. She carried a nature bouquet of fresh white calla, lavendar roses, white stock, white spray roses, salal, burgundy carnations, purple carnations, white freesia, and purple dendrobium orchids. The honor attendant was Julie Bangert, Lenexa, Kan., sister of the bride. The attendant was Rachel Nieves, Apopka, Fla., cousin of the bride. They wore sangria chiffon floor-length gowns with a ruched bodice and cummerbund. The best man was Amin Wahi, Kansas City, friend of the couple. The groomsman was Jason Bangert, Affton, brother of the bride. The flower girl was Chloee Goldammer, daughter of Danny and Lindsay Goldammer, Lee's Summit, cousin of the bride. The ring bearer was Cayden Goldammer, son of Danny and Lindsay Goldammer, Lee's Summit, cousin of the bride. The candlelighters were Rachel Anderson, Sedalia, cousin of the bride; and Kirsten Holle, Beatrice, Neb., cousin of the bride. The ushers were Danny Goldammer, Lee's Summit, cousin of the bride; Matthew Goldammer, Salina, Kan., cousin of the bride; and Greg Holle, Beatrice, Neb., cousin of the bride. The organist was Linda Funke, Jefferson City, and the vocalists were Carl and Carol Beach, Jefferson City. A dinner and dance reception followed the ceremony at Capital Ritz. A rehearsal dinner, hosted by the groom's parents, was held September 29, 2017, at Trinity Lutheran Church. The bride is a graduate of Jefferson City High School, Jefferson City, and Lincoln University, Jefferson City, with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She is Senior Interoperability Project Manager and Team Lead at Cerner, Kansas City. The groom is a graduate of Fulton High School, Fulton, and Park University, Parkville, with a Bachelor of Science in Management/Computer Information Systems. He is an Interface Architect at Cerner, Kansas City. After a wedding trip to Destin, Fla., the couple resides in Lee's Summit.
