Victoria Erin Bernadette Easley Sterling and James Matthew "Mat" Kendrick, both of Jefferson City, were married June 3 at the Hannibal Boat Club, Hannibal. Anita Greening performed the ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Tamara Easley, Moberly, and the late Chesley "Chet" Easley. The groom is the son of James K. Kendrick, Hannibal, and the late Mary L. Kendrick. The bride wore a champagne, floor-length embroidered gown with tulle godets. She completed her ensemble with a champagne cathedral-length veil with lace embroidered edges. She carried a purple and gold cascading bouquet. The attendants were Jennifer Blank, Olathe, Kan., friend of the bride; Jenn Halbhuber, Belton, friend of the bride; and Caitlin Korte, Jefferson City, friend of the bride. The groom's attendants were Christina Stephens, St. Louis, friend of the groom; Allyson Kendrick, Knoxville, Iowa, niece of the groom; and Joshua Hyde, Kansas City, friend of the groom. The usher was Benjamin Remelius, Kingsville, Texas, nephew of the bride. The lector was Katherine Remelius, Kingsville, Texas, niece of the bride. A dinner and dance reception followed the ceremony at the Hannibal Boat Club. A rehearsal dinner, hosted by James Kendrick and Melissa Breeding, was held June 2 at Mark Twain Brewing. The bride is a 2003 graduate of Rolla High School, Rolla; a 2008 graduate of Missouri State University, Springfield, with a Bachelor of Arts; and a 2012 graduate of American Public University, Charles Town, W. Va., with a Master of Arts. She is an Investigator with the Department of Mental Health. The groom is a 1990 graduate of Chariton High School, Chariton, Iowa, and a 1995 graduate of Southwestern Community College, Creston, Iowa, with an Associate of Arts. He is currently a student at Columbia College, Jefferson City, pursuing a Bachelor of Arts. He is a Revenue Processing Technician with the Department of Revenue. After a wedding trip to Hermann, the couple resides in Jefferson City.
