Ashlyn Cook, Jefferson City, and Evan Johnson, Springdale, Ark., were married April 22 at the Ballroom at I Street, Bentonville, Ark. Finley Robinson performed the double-ring ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Max and Cindy Cook, Jefferson City. The groom is the son of Carl and Tammy Shipley, Fayetteville, Ark., and the late Kevin Johnson. Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a white gown with an illusion bodice covered in hand-sewn embroidery. The full skirt with layers of tulle was completed with a train and cathedral-length veil. She carried a bouquet of all white garden roses, peonies, hydrangeas and sweetheart roses. The honor attendant was Amanda Cook, Little Rock, Ark., sister of the bride. She wore a floor-length black chiffon gown. The attendants were Kaci Newton, Nashville, Tenn.; Allie Brasuell, Fayetteville, Ark.; Caroline Bryan, Fayetteville, Ark.; Emily Collins, Fayetteville, Ark.; Kelsi McBrayer, Fayetteville, Ark.; Lizzy Miller, Dallas, Texas; Amy Moorehead, Little Rock, Ark.; Emily Ratcliff, Rogers, Ark.; Mallori Roberts, Atlanta, Ga.; and Brittany Shipley, Nashville, Tenn. The best man was Isaac Johnson, Tulsa, Okla., brother of the groom. The groomsmen included Tyler Easley, Fayetteville, Ark.; Josh Paxson, Oklahoma City, Okla.; Austin Nolan, Little Rock, Ark.; Mason Lester, Fayetteville, Ark.; Spencer Pruitt, Fayetteville, Ark.; Sawyer Dunigan, Little Rock, Ark.; Bryce Larry, Rogers, Ark.; Mark Hall, Little Rock, Ark.; Luke Hartness, Fayetteville, Ark.; and Jack Snider, Dallas, Texas. The flower girl was Evelyn Spear, daughter of Kevin and Katie Spear, Jefferson City. The ring bearer was Ezra Trinidad, son of Fares and Abby Trinidad, Centerton, Ark. The ushers were Trey Kennedy, Kansas City; Grant Newton, Nashville, Tenn.; and Jay Magee, Fayetteville, Ark. A cocktail hour, dinner and dance reception followed the ceremony. A rehearsal dinner, hosted by the groom's parents, was held April 21 at the Springdale Country Club, Springdale, Ark. The bride is a 2011 graduate of Jefferson City High School and a 2015 graduate of the University of Arkansas. She will begin teaching elementary school in the fall in Mesquite, Texas. The groom is a 2012 graduate of Har-Ber High School, Springdale, Ark., and a 2016 graduate of the University of Arkansas. He will begin school in the fall at Texas A&M School of Dentistry, Dallas, Texas. After a wedding trip to St. Lucia, the couple resides in Dallas, Texas.
