Lindsey LeCuru and Seth Thomas, both of Jefferson City, were married at 2 p.m., May 20, at St. Stanislaus Church, Wardsville. Father Mike Coleman performed the double-ring ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Eric and Bonnie LeCuru, Jefferson City. The groom is the son of Kent and Sherri Thomas, Jefferson City. Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore an ivory lace and satin gown adorned with a crystal beaded bodice and scalloped neckline, tulle layered skirt, button back closure, and chapel train. She carried a bouquet of blush pink, coral and ivory roses and carnations, eucalyptus and baby's breath, with her grandmother's broach attached. The honor attendant was Shelby LeCuru, Jefferson City, sister of the bride. The attendants were Kristin Eiken, Maryville, friend of the couple; Shelby Harrison, Ashland, friend of the couple; Jill Bernskoetter, Jefferson City, friend of the couple; Amanda Schwartze, Jefferson City, friend of the couple; Caroline Sight, Ashland, friend of the couple; Emma Booth, Raytown, friend of the couple; and Megan Seales, Jefferson City, cousin of the bride. They wore knee-length blush pink dresses. The best man was Caleb Thomas, Jefferson City, brother of the groom. The groomsmen included Matt Helle, Kansas City, friend of the couple; Logan Decker, Kansas City, friend of the couple; Phil Davis, Kansas City, friend of the couple; Jeff Hinshaw, Rolla, friend of the couple; Jake Beeson, St. Charles, friend of the couple; Adam Otto, St. Louis, friend of the couple; and Dontré Jenkins, New Madrid, friend of the couple. The miniature bride was Sarah Kimbell, daughter of Matt and Jessi Kimbell, Blue Springs, cousin of the groom. The miniature groom was Camden Denny, son of Kurt and Dara Denny, Taos, cousin of the bride. The flower girl was Morgan Elliott, daughter of Kyle and Amy Elliott, Kansas City, cousin of the groom. The ring bearers were Jacob and Eli Lopez, sons of Joe and Lori Lopez, Jefferson City, cousins of the bride; and Simon and Jude Elliott, sons of Clint and Andrea Elliott, Liberty, cousins of the groom. The candlelighters were Kaylie LeCuru, Jefferson City, cousin of the bride; and Taylor Strope, Taos, cousin of the bride. The ushers were Zach LeCuru, Jefferson City, brother of the bride; Colby LeCuru, Jefferson City, brother of the bride; and Jacob Munson, Higginsville, cousin of the groom. The organist was Scott Sellner, Jefferson City, and the vocalist was Connie Andrews, Jefferson City, friend of the couple. The lectors were Lori Lopez, Jefferson City, godmother of the bride, and Clint Elliott, Liberty, uncle of the groom. A dinner and dance reception followed the ceremony at the Wardsville Lions Club. A rehearsal dinner, hosted by Kent and Sherri Elliott, was held May 19 at the Wardsville Lions Club. The bride is a 2010 graduate of Helias Catholic High School, Jefferson City, and a 2014 graduate of William Woods University, Fulton, with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Sports Management. She is a Project Specialist at Mid-MO Samaritan Center. The groom is a 2009 graduate of Cuba High School, Cuba, and a 2014 graduate of William Woods University, Fulton, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Education/Health K-12. He is head men's basketball coach at Jamestown High School, junior high boys and girls basketball coach at Jamestown, K-12 PE/Health and Weight Training teacher at Jamestown. After a wedding trip to Cancun, Mexico, the couple resides in Jefferson City.
