Nicole Frances Buschjost, Wardsville, and Devin Robert Grothoff, Holts Summit, were married at 1:30 p.m., July 2, at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, Wardsville. Fr. I.C. Medina performed the double-ring ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Jeffrey and Darlene Buschjost, Wardsville. The groom is the son of David and Judy Grothoff, Holts Summit. Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a white A-line silhouette gown covered with beaded lace over silk with a crystal beaded embellishment at the empire waist with scalloped lace edge of the chapel-length train. She completed her ensemble with a fingertip veil with matching beaded lace. She carried a clutch bouquet of large and miniature sunflowers, yellow stock, yellow solidago, yellow and white daisies with salal tips wrapped in white satin and pearl ribbon. The honor attendant was Emily Koelling, Osage Bend, friend of the bride. The attendants were Hannah Wilson, Russellville, friend of the bride; Dawn Grothoff, Holts Summit, sister-in-law of the groom; and Ashley Hoffman, Jefferson City, friend of the bride. The junior attendant was Saylor Haney, Jefferson City, cousin of the bride. They wore peacock blue floor-length chiffon gowns with a strap over one shoulder and asymmetrical gathers at the empire waist with rhinestones. The best man was Steve Oswald, Branson, friend of the groom. The groomsmen included: Adam Buschjost, Osage Bend, brother of the bride; Derek Grothoff, Holts Summit, brother of the groom; and Dustin Grothoff, Holts Summit, brother of the groom. The junior groomsman was Drew Hoelscher, Jefferson City, cousin of the bride. The groomsmen also served as ushers. The miniature bride was Laney Leonard, daughter of Tom and Molly Leonard, Wardsville, cousin of the bride. The miniature groom was Gavin Stegemann, son of Brent and Maggie Stegemann, Columbia, cousin of the bride. The organist was Mike Bruns, Jefferson City, and the vocalist was Connie Andrews, Jefferson City. The Mass servers were Jaycee Buschjost and Kadie Buschjost, both of Jefferson City, cousins of the bride. The lectors were Jennifer Kopec, Jefferson City, cousin of the bride; Kelly Haney, Jefferson City, cousin of the bride; and Melissa Nichols, Jefferson City, cousin of the bride. Offertory was presented by Jackie Jenkins, Jefferson City, godmother of the bride; Delbert Hoelscher, Wardsville, godfather of the bride; and Sandy and Tim Bennett, Taos, godparents of the groom. A reception, dinner and dance followed the ceremony at the Wardsville Lions Club. A rehearsal dinner, hosted by the groom's parents, was held July 1 at the Wardsville Lions Club. The bride is a 2011 graduate of Helias High School, Jefferson City, and a 2015 graduate of Lincoln University, Jefferson City, with a Bachelors of Science in Education. She is a fourth grade teacher at St. Francis Xavier Catholic School, Taos. The groom is a 2012 graduate of Jefferson City High School, Jefferson City, and a 2015 graduate of Linn State Technical College with an Associates of Applied Science in Radiation Protection. He is a Health Physics Technician II at the University of Missouri Research Reactor (MURR). After a wedding trip to Riviera Maya, Mexico, the couple resides in Jefferson City.
