Mr. and Mrs. John Downs, Jefferson City, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a trip to Hawaii. They also celebrated in July with a family gathering at Yosemite National Park in California. John Downs and Sherrie McMeen were married September 17, 1966, at the Methodist Church, Pontiac, Ill. Rev. Ron Seibert officiated.
