Amber Markway and Lucas Scheidt, both of Jefferson City, were married at 2 p.m., October 8, at Wasserlauf Valley, Russellville. Debbie Campbell performed the double-ring ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Phillip and Vanessa Markway, Jefferson City. The groom is the son of Dennis Scheidt, and Mary and Carlos Robinett, all of Jefferson City. The bride wore a gown with a sweetheart neckline and beaded bodice. The honor attendant was Kayla Maassen, Lee's Summit, friend of the bride. The attendants were Shana Luebbering, Jefferson City, friend of the bride; Rachael Jarrett, Jefferson City, friend of the bride; and Nalin Pendleton, St. Louis, friend of the bride. The best man was Charlie St. Onge, Jefferson City, friend of the groom. The groomsmen included Michael Irey, California, friend of the groom; Ryan Scheidt, Warrensburg, brother of the groom; and Clint Cary, Rolla, friend of the groom. A reception and dance followed the ceremony at Wasserlauf Valley, Russellville. A rehearsal dinner was held October 8, hosted by Mary and Carlos Robinett. The bride is a 2009 graduate of Blair Oaks High School, Jefferson City, and Lincoln University, Jefferson City. She is a communications operator. The groom is a 2002 graduate of California High School, California, and State Fair Community College, Sedalia, with a degree in Criminal Justice. He is a police officer. After a wedding trip to the Dominican Republic, the couple resides in Jefferson City.
