Mr. and Mrs. Larry Armstrong, Wardsville, celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary with a trip to the New England states. Larry Armstrong and Jean Lamb were married October 16, 1976, at Immaculate Conception Church, Jefferson City. Fr. Richard Cronin officiated. They were attended by Dr. and Mrs. Bill Schoene, Tell City, Ind.; Sharon Lamb OHanlon, Pleasant Hill; Wanda Lamb Schaefer, Centertown; Miriam Schepers, Jefferson City; Kathy Armstrong Kaeneman, Lee's Summit; Michael Lamb, Kansas City; Paul Williams, Loose Creek; Kevin Creed, Jefferson City; and Roger Even, Jefferson City. Mr. and Mrs. Armstrong have three children: Jennifer Hood and her husband Patrick Hood, Wardsville; Erin Bowyer and her husband Tyson Bowyer, Taos; and Brad Armstrong and his fiancée, Molly Hunt, Wardsville. They also have seven grandchildren: Zac Armstrong, Lainey Hood, Jett Quirouet, Ethan Hood, Lillian Bowyer, Ella Bowyer, and Abbott Bowyer.
