The Season of Reason! By L. Don Oliver
Tis the season for individual reason, To each their own accord; I choose to celebrate the occasion, Of the birth of my Lord;
Tis the season that belongs to everyone, No matter who they may be; It's the season that gladdens every soul, From the worries that they perceive;
Too often it's used for politics, Others will use it to digress; Upon this season of joy and happiness, That the secularists wish to repress;
Trying to alter my belief system, Has been their effort from the start, They can attempt to change my mind, But they will never change my heart;
Upon this Season of Reason, Let love be our Waterfall; Peace on Earth, Goodwill to everyone, And a "Merry Christmas" to all;
