Christians don't understand their own history

"Time was, the only difference in the denominations was the way worship was conducted, not interpretation of the Bible’s specific and clear words."

My gods! Christians not only don’t understand secular history, science and rudimentary elements of induction and reason, but apparently don’t even understand their own history. The ink wasn’t even dry on the Gospels before they started squabbling over differing interpretations. The whole of church history is replete with this group fighting, persecuting and killing members of that group over what this verse or that verse meant.

Is Harold pulling our leg?
