Everything in Cuba is in a shambles, because they are beyond broke. Still, money isn't everything and their life expectancy is equal to ours. So is there infant mortality rate. They have more doctors per 100,000 people than we do. I could go on. Our health care outcomes are shameful when you remember we spend so much more than any other country in the world.

You are contrdicting yourself - again. Castro's Cuba was modeled on the Soviet government model. Authoritarian is as authoritarian does.
