We are in the midst of our Presidential election season. The President is in reelection mode. His comments are understandable in this context. Yet, though I do agree with spelchek, I do not think we are going to see a timid side to the President or the eventual Republican challenger. Outside of the military-industrial complex there is a stark difference between the two parties. My world view and bias will lead me to vote for reelection of the President and so therefore I believe there is some truth to what he says about the state of the present day Republican Party. President Reagan would find it difficult to be nominated as a Republican.
I am a Jehoveh's Witness who employs people and I do not want their insurance to cover blood transfusions. I am a Christian Scientist employer and I do not want my employee's insurance to pay for doctors visits. I am a Hasidic Jew company owner and I do not want the insurance I supply to my employees to pay for car accidents that occur on the Sabbath. When will this insanity end.

Uh oh.........a second term for the President seems even more a reality. When one considers the liberal turn to occur in the Circuit Court and Supreme Court with a second Obama term it is understandable the conservatives are going apoplectic. If things continue to move in the direction they have been for the last three months, and there is little reason to believe they will not, it will be a bloodbath of recriminations within the Republican Party after November.
