Benjamin Franklin backs up Sen. Will Kraus’s statement.
Ben Franklin said Those who give up their liberty for more security neither deserve liberty nor security.
Concerning the public concerns about privacy…. The key word is voluntarily sacrificing privacy. I may choose to share private things about myself, that doesn’t give anyone or the Gov. the right.
I’m not sure what biometric analysis consists of but I’m sure it is more invasive than a simple photo. I am concerned the biometric information stored in a vast government database would be used for things other than simple identification.
What is inconsistent is the Democratic Party requiring Photo ID to vote in their primary but oppose requiring one to vote in an election.
James is an inspiration for us all! I wonder if anyone can find out if the MSHSAA has enforced this rule with other athletes raising money for charity.
On one hand I think this is pretty extreme I can remember when I was in high school I carried my shotgun in the rear window of my pickup. On the other, with everything going on, and everyone being very aware of the rules it was very poor judgment, at the very least, to let her son take this toy gun to school. I mean come what did she expect?
OK the end result of having some faculty armed would not be a gunfight. The odds are they would never have to use a gun. The whole point is to discourage a person from showing up armed, if they know they will be killed before they have a chance to hurt anyone odds are they won’t even try. If they do make the attempt at least our children have a chance. If the principal would have been armed and could have killed this guy as he stormed through the glass many parents and family members would be having a Merry Christmas this year.

Mr. Vignola did the right thing MSHSAA followed the rules. I would define sheeple as people who blindly follow the rules.
