Not guilty verdict in JC murder trial May 6, 2016
What ever happened to Father Thomas Seifner? Just a couple years ago he was accused of inappropriate electronic communication with a minor and was placed on leave. Lots of folks were shocked and jumped to his defense.
I'm telling you, nothing surprises me any more.
I agree -- Innocent until proven guilty. That being said, there have been numerous other priests that so many people have adored and thought the world of that have turned out to have a dark side well hidden from many people. One that comes to mind is the disgraced Bishop Anthony O'Connell who was a former priest of the Diocese of Jefferson City.
It's a shame that the past actions of others lead so many to jump to the worst conclusions.
