Most convention centers seem to be located in city centers near the hustle and bustle. The mall isn't near anything to reach by foot. Not my money, but seems to be a bad idea (especially it it gets subsidized) from a locational standpoint.
It appears we are in a downward spiral of moral decline. What happened? I can't be mere coincidence that the more government stifles Christianity the more moral decline we witness. Nobody dare speak an ill word of Muslims in fear of being labeled a bigot and the 1st Amendment might as well not even exist due to outright fear of retaliation from the religion of peace. Yet, Christianity keeps getting thrown under the bus. Expect more of this.
"Because if you riot in the streets and question the status quo bad things happen."
OWS did all of the above and I don't remember seeing bad things happening to them (getting evicted/arrested for violating the law doesn't count). Only those who disagreed with the current administration had "bad things happen". Now bring me my appletini and give me my Rachael Maddow, thaaaanks.
What race is the card carrying member? What race are you referring to when you mention "local blue haired voting block"?
If your assumptions about those associated with the "GOP" were true, how do you explain a land mark restaurant like Arris' (Greek), the success of El Jimador (Hispanic), El Espolon (Hispanic), many Chinese restaurants (Asian) and I'm sure there are many other businesses I'm missing. If what you said was true a lot of these businesses could have been denied permits by the city, correct? The city could covertly make them move on to the next city, no? Yet, more businesses keep opening up by, GASP...people that don't look like us!
