“Then he held up the Etch-A-Sketch and Sarah Palin said, ‘Hey, give me back my iPad.’ She’s stupid.
She’s stupid. I know I’m not allowed to say it, but I think she’s stupid.”
- Bill Maher
“I think Sarah Palin proved herself to be—I think she‘s proven herself to be profoundly stupid.”
- Chris Matthews
I had no idea Bill and Chris were religious fundamentalists. Thanks for sharing.
“Hindsight is 20-20,” he said. , If so, then the previous plane was purchased using the same process as the new plane. Meaning, the legislators have nothing to gripe about. If the previous plane was purchased going through all the proper channels the legislators are griping about, then the patrol lacks hindsight.
You point your car at other cars and accelerate towards them on a daily basis. Does this not make you a threat to others? Would it be OK to suspend a kid (better yet, your kid) with a toy car that goes around vrooming it around on the floor towards his/her class mates?
Who needs those jobs anyway? Surely not the middle class. Payroll taxes just went back up but I haven't seen you gripe about the impact that has on the middle class. Obama blames Bush (still....) for everything, should Brown blame Sebelius for leaving KS in such bad shape as you note?
What is tolerant about forcing a long standing organization to change its values because it doesn't fit a particular demographic's values? This is just going to set the scouts up for major law suits so the gay community can kill an organization it has always despised. If libs don't like something, it better change or it can't go on existing. Tolerance indeed.
Harry Reid and MANY democrats are not dumb enough to give Frankenstein's bill the time of day, why should the GOP? Also, "national debate"? Since when is MO not a part of the "national debate"? Just because criminals and liberals (I repeat myself) want less guns for law abiding citizens doesn't mean the rest of do. This article is disingenuous.
It's comforting to know someone (like NT) is watching our local government diligently and bringing these discrepancies to light. It would be a shame to see our local government abuse it's power given to them by us, the voter. You need to look no further than Detroit's mayor or the City of Bell, CA as examples of gross abuse of money and power.
In other words, 4.5% recovered of MO general revenue of 1.1 billion for SFY 2011. The feds and others kick in the other 5.5 billion. A drop in the bucket.
10% of the recovered money could pay for the Governor's new plane.

Careful Mr. Brown, pointing words like "sniping" at commentors might scare some folks on here. I kid (kind of) of course.
