Tax money does not improve education. Anyone over fifty went to high schools which was probably an old building with paint chipping off, no computers, no fancy equipment, but we learned to read, write, think and we didn't carry guns to school.
This was never a vote on taxes. It was a vote AGAINST the school board trying to shove a bad plan down the taxpayers' throats. Next time, perhaps you'll go out to the voters and ask them what they want, before you buy land at some exorbitant price and tell the district what they want. Meantime I suggest the entire board and the superintendent tender their resignations.
Mitchell, I'm going to give you some FREE advice. You won't have to pay me, like you paid those consultants. This is FREE.
DON'T buy the land before you go to the voters and then tell the voters what YOU are going to do. WE will decide what we want. Not YOU.
That was free. You owe me nothing.
