I hope I'm wrong. Each step the the city takes towards constructing a convention center and redeveloping the MSP we are closer that much to filing for bankruptcy.

The current mayor, city administrator and previous city council decided to purchase three apartments on Mulberry, near the old bread store, with the purpose of tearing them down and creating a green space. The property was purchased in April 2012 and to date nothing has been done -- the place is an eyesore. The City leaders need to lead from the front not from behind.

I believe Mr Miller had previously informed those over him of his plans to step down with the next couple of months. If true, the administration took the opportunity to appear to be doing something by "firing" the guy who was stepping down anyways.

Interesting, no comment about the individual who spoke for increasing the hours. He asked those in favor of these cuts to have their famililes park thier cars and only use public transportation for 2 weeks. He was the only person to receive a round of applause. How did the reporter miss that?

Wasn't this sold in the manner of this is to ensure the airlines makes a profit for the year. Columbia's and JC's mayors forgot to tell everyone it was to ensure a profit on each flight.

Do we get a refund if there is profit without the local subsidy?

I recently asked for and received information under the sunshine law. I was told upfront that I would be charged for time in excess of 15 minutes. I agreed, no surprises. Following your premise, we pay for the streets so why are there parking meters asnd parking fines? To keep one person or a select few persons from monopolozing a resource.
