I don't see anything preposterous at all since it is all true of the far left wing intolerance. so maybe your not one of those maybe you do like petroleum fueled vehicles as long as its fueled with petroleum products supplied by countries who hate us. I don't know? Preposterous is what I could refer to one test or multiple test by one State Agency that claims a cancer increase. We could also say there are numerous tests that say eggs are bad for you and then another two or three hundred surveys that find no evidence of increased risks of heart disease from eating 6-7 eggs a week rather than none or two eggs.

no from what I have read most of the job cuts are as they should be middle and upper management desk jockies. We don't need them! The Middle management Bob who sets around and plans his retirement and dreams of his new car while spitting out yet another memo on motivation and the meeting with shirley on Joes retirement party next week. that is the middle management bloat we don't need. I have seen it and we don't need it anymore they are just career ladder bureaucracy bloat creating positions that mean and do little if anything to actually do the hands on job of road maintenance and construction.

Ok well then stick a windmill on your head and solar panel up your you know where. Instead of complaining about every damned use of our own natural resourses give an informed solution. Oh, and don't cram down the public's throat some socialist jargon about forcing us to drive around in a singer sewing machine like the Chevette or plugging in our car every 45 miles. I suppose if we tried to equip and use natural gas to power our cars so we could drive in the size car we are accustomed to then you would have some complaint there to? As long as we all suffer together in a socialist dream of one size fits all and we all wear gray shirts and black pants your happy!

Test after test for ground water contaminate have been done over and over again and they have found nothing with the process of fracking. It is just another attempt by Left wing environmental whacko's to undermine anything that helps the United States produce and use our own resources.

Well, I was there and thought everything went well. I do not consume alcoholic beverages but have in the past. With that being said the only thing I noticed was those little red cups where really really small. What where they 10-oz or less? Most festivals I have attended that are city sanctioned use a more standard size such as 16 oz. I don't think I have seen a glass of beer served in years! Just thinking with computers and POS systems that most Restaurants, bars and grills use today, most do not have that size programed in. Maybe by this week the vendors will have their systems adjusted to handle that small size drink. As the article say's adjustments will be made here and there and that makes good sense. Oh, I did hear some of the adults walking around commenting on the sippy cup size and that they felt a little like they where being treated like babies rather than adults. Just my observations I really don't have any skin in the drinking game one way or the other.

Look folks get a grip and face facts. It takes 5 private sector jobs to support one government worker. When you have a stagnate economy and less tax revenues and real growth in the private sector last month of 36,000 jobs nation wide government has to shrink! It is a fact pull off the blinders and face reality! Under the current government in two years the only growth has been 500,000 new Federal jobs which takes 2,500,000 private sector employees to pay for! Has the private sector added that many jobs? NO

the fact is hkchas under the Obama health plan 500 million was/is to be cut from Medicare. Another fact is that Medicare will be broke in 13 years! Just pushing out millionaire tax cuts as a solution is just another Democrat, MSNBC, DLC, talking point. No one is ending Medicare they are putting options on the table rather than putting their head in the sand and ignoring it! Tax the rich 100% ride the class envy pony all you want the most you'll get is 800 billion the country in 2011 has a 1.6 trillion debt take all the richs money and you still have 800 billion in the hole!

Hermann is a conservative town and it thrives on its German heritage and wines etc. Oops we can't do that here we have torn every significant landmark down, The Lohman House, Half of McCarty Street, a Block of High Street, The old Police Station, Several of the Stately homes on West Main, the Bassmann House. All for what non descript edifices to big government! The only thing worth seeing in this town is the Capitol Building, The Supreme Court Building, and the Governors Mansion and that is if you can get through all the omnipotent security public servants think they need.
