Someone should go to the admin building at Rolla/Vichy airport and see all the clowns with their state cars loafing there all day on state time. I brought this up to my MoDOT supervisor and he said it has been going on for years but if I want to keep my job, keep my mouth shut. But I am letting my fingers do my talking.
You would think that with the anti elite feelings in the country right now, the GOP would have the sense not to send an out of touch rich guy as their candidate. Heck yeah, we all send our dancing horses to the olympics in their own private jet. This guy is going to hand Obama another four years. Its Palin in 2008 all over again. Get your act together GOP leadership!! Ron Paul and Herman Cain only suspended their runs, unlike the rest that quit. To late??
Holmes had recently moved here to Colorado from California. He said the reason he moved here was Colorado was a much safer place to live!!
Promise of "a better America". Excuse me, but wasn't this the party that left us in this horrible mess the last time they had the White House? Now that we are slowly climbing out of this morass they want back in the drivers seat. Now, former president Duh(?)bya wants to be Mitt Millionaires advisor on the economy!! Exactly what were the conservatives conserving during those eight years anyway.
What a racket these bozo's have. Now one clown wants to shorten the legislative season with no mention of reducing their pay. I would love a job where I only worked a few months out of the year with benefits none of the rest of us could even dream of with an average pay of 36K. The money saved, comes from travel, per diem and office expenses. What about them returning for special sessions? What then clown? Will the saving evaporate?
Heres an idea from this taxpayer that funds your salary. What if all of you clowns stayed in your home district and did your state business online and were available to your constituents all the time? Of course that would mean explaining yourself to those affected by your votes. This would mean enormous savings for us.
By the way, I get tired of having cars coming down Hwy 54 with state legislator plates tail gating me. Obnoxious jerks!!
Unfortunately the state workers cannot give themselves raises. So, tit for tat, the voters should give the legislators a raise by vote. If you look closely, the clowns at the state house get perks that rival those in Washington DC. Another thing, not a bad job for only working about 4 months out of the year.
Our state workers are 50th in pay and benefits but our state legislators are ranked 13th. The voters need to be the ones to grant raises for the elected, not them.
Doubling the price of junk mail still would not be what we pay. Make them pay our rate. The USPS has to handle junk mail just like 1st class mail but at one tenth the rate of first class mail. No mo free rides! Our postal system is the finest in the world. Send a one ounce letter from coast to coast for 44 cents, in three days, thats fantastic.
The District 5 Manager (JC Office) at a meeting of the rank and file, smirked, I got a raise this year! This was one day before the notice of cuts went public. Such arrogance. The lowest paid do the most work and will feel the biggest impact of this decision.
it's a changing world folks. get used to it. i do think if eating and drinking places had provided more separation between smokers and non it wouldnt have become such an issue. when you ask for a seat in the non smoking area and they just take the ashtray off your table, that is poor customer service.
