I am a former Missouri Army National Guardsman. I spent a year on active duty during my 13-years in the Guard. I think I understand why Guardsmen are paid the way they are. I hope a good long study is given to this before any change is made.
Once again the ACLU is sticking their nose into something that is none of their business. If this jail wants to ban newspapers, so be it. After all, they are responsible for what goes on in the jail.
Does the ACLU believe that all the inmates should have access to radios and TVs? Please!!!
