Ask youself ~
Would you want to come to Jefferson City
when instead you could go to:
The question REMAINS
if the convention center is build
and it looks as if it is going forward
who will fill come???
already there is controversy ~
my question is WHO IS GOING TO PAY THE BILL
AND THAT DOES NOT INCLUDE A PARKING GARAGE
the council, administrator, and mayor seem to forget that we are
$1.6 million in the red, tax revenue and property tax income down.
It does not make fiscal sense.
Time to reconsider going forward with this expensive empty project.
if the professionals see an opportunity to make a steady stream of profits
from a convention center, they will ~ do Drury speaks LOUDLY, Can you hear
much already said in opposition to a convention center from many, but
the city council, city administrator, and the top layer of the establishment
who runs the city are not listening,
At times we seem to be "beating or gums" or more strongly put
"beating a dead horse."
my first question pertaining to the sidewalk on Ellis Blvd. near Tanner Bridge,
was why did JC need a round-about on this intersection; one expenditure feeds another
which brings into play, why did we need to round-abouts on Stadium, South?
Who is running this "dog and pony" show?
stream city council meetings there is usually an agenda for the forthcoming meeting up on the city's web the weekend before thE Monday meeting; check the calendar, sometimes the meeting are moved to Tuesdays when there is a holiday. Review old council meetings, they are recorded and held on the streaming site.
contact your council person and let them know what think!

RIGHT ON POINT
