Rbreb13....2% would be the remainder of the 98% that Director said was not in attendance. But yes you are correct, I did go to JC. I worded it incorrectly. Should have been pretty easy to figure out what I meant, but I appreciate the correction.
Director.....I wish now I would have read all of your posts before I responded to any of them. It is apparent to me that you are a very bitter person and maybe a bit crazy?
Director, I will correct you again. I am not sure where you attended school but 98% of a population of approx. 40,000 is 800 people. We have around 10 times that amount in attendance. We are beginning to make this event one of the largest in our area. I hope that the city continues to be progressive and support these kind of events. Maybe then narrow minded, judgemental people such as yourself will move, and our city can become what a capitol city should be.
Angiepalooza is an event to raise money for fallen law enforcement and firefighters. I can assure you that this will be the last place that you will want to "light up".
I will also respectfully disagree with your post. I have attended, help coordinate and have performed at every Thursday Night Live since it's inception. This event has exceeded almost every expectation that we set out to accomplish. We have had as many as 8,500 estimated people in a three block area, with very few if any problems. It is a shame that there are many narrow minded people like yourself that try to stifle the growth of our city. Without a doubt the lack of entertainment in our area, until recently, is a major factor in why our beautiful city has seen very minimal growth over the last several years. The reason this event and many like it have been so successful is because of their execution. Everyone involved in this event does everything that they can to make sure that it does not turn into a "trashy beer garden".
So, while we are talking about ridiculous quotes....DIRECTOR, your quote about Thursday Night Live being a trashy beer garden, tells me that you have never been to one of these fantastic events. Or, if you have, you were passing judgement based on personal feelings and not facts. Too bad, I bet if you were able to set your judgement aside and come out with the intention of having a good time, you just might enjoy yourself.
