I feel this is far to extreme a punishment. I don't feel there should even be a punishment. I realize what's been going on with all the shootings but what's happening with people. Mass hysteria? When I was a kid I used a stick as a gun. Will a stich being aimed at another kid with the words " POW! POW!" also be used to expel a child or children?
I could never keep up with all the gun talk. There's a handle and a barrel and the trigger but I for one cannot see giving up a gun. Any gun. Just thought I'd add my two cents.
How in the world could anyone steal a missle launcher from the military? When I lived at the Grand Forks AFB I was a bit drunk after an evening at the officers club and I took a wrong turn and ended up with three guys aiming their guns at my car. I knew one of the guys so they just told me to go home. The security is tight at those places so I sure don't know how a theft could occur but I guess anything is possible if indeed the launcher was stolen.
Lots of questions reguarding this. Many people at 70 years old are healthy and well with intact reasoning skills. Others aren't so fortunate. Was this man out of funds, does he have friends or family, could he have mental decline etc. I highly doubt he all of a sudden acquired a herd of cows and decided to let them starve. I feel there's more to the story and as much as I hate animal abuse this story just doesn't have all the facts yet.
