Plans to tear down old Cole County jail and sheriff's house move forward April 16, 2014
Would you care to elaborate on how Dr. Mitchell is a strong leader. Do you have personal knowledge of his leadership? Has he directed a disaster to make him such a strong leaders?
"It is unfortunate that when elected officials support something people in this community do not like or understand people want to replace them."
We want to replace them because they are not doing what the citizens voted for. They are behaving like typical politicians. They don't listen.
Because there is no money in doing something different! That's what this country is all about. MONEY MONEY MONEY!!!

You won't get my vote.
I found that it will cost me close to an additional 130 dollars a year on my personal property tax to help pay for this monster. How can I vote yes on this?
How are these academies going to happen if they don't have voter approval? And please don't tell me what I'm supposed to do. I'm not your child.
Well I have one very important question. How much is this going to raise my school tax on my personal property tax?
"The academies will not lock a student into a career path, it only encourages engagement by presenting the material in a manner that is relevant to their interests."
So how would a second high school not do the same thing? Why do we have to build academies for this?
The answer is they don't want to split the kids up so they can have one school to pick the athletes from.
And why aren't the JCPS educators out talking about the issues?
