Mo. lawmakers pass $1.7B incentive plan for Boeing December 6, 2013
I really enjoy Paddy's food and you can either sit out on the patio (yes there's smokers but really its still quite nice out there) or the back more of a dining room feel or the bar area.
Its sad that the good places get less publicity than the sketchier places. I'm not sure if the Tiki Bar (?) is still uptown but I heard it had decent food and a nice atmosphere (I may be wrong no first hand knowledge here)
But yet you overlook this line "Akin spent Wednesday in Washington at a series of fundraisers, including a luncheon sponsored by GOP Sens. Jim DeMint and Lindsey Graham of South Carolina and Jim Inhofe and Tom Coburn of Oklahoma" ? How is that ANY different....
how about just calling him an American? Is that really so hard to do?
Yes I did. And I graduated with Honors with not one but two degrees and have held a job/paid taxes for the subsequent years since then.
And guess what, I still party until 430 am once in a great while.
I bet there is all kinds of people that might like to go dancing at 4:30 am. Night owls, people who work until 1 or 2 in the morning and all the other places to dance are closed. College kids. I know for a fact when I was in college most weekends we were up until daylight if we were having a good time.
I have never heard an advoacate for equal rights for homosexuals claim that they want the government to tell you that you have to accept their lifestyle. You are free to not accept or believe anything that you want. I havn't heard one person picketing to make all marriages same sex. Turn your cheek and look at it from their point of view, if you were told you were not allowed to marry someone that you loved, because other people had a different point of view, you would be livid and in the same position that they are. Dicrimination is wrong regardless of what you hold as your persaonl and religious beliefs. Preach from the rooftops if you think that it is wrong, no one is going to stop you.
hkchas you couldn't have said it better. I get very tired of the "government is trying to take over ourlives" sector turning around and getting all up in womens choice issues. All I can conclude is that they don't want government in our lives, unless it has to do with the female reproductive system. Annoying.
Wait.. are you claming he made these statements cause hes too wore out from campaigning? Thats reassuring, lets hope he doesn't get too wore out if he gets voted in and really screw something up?
And even if there is something to the "fight and flight" bodily responses, is the slim chance that it would prevent an unwanted pregancy enough? What about the mental condtions of the victim? Say I get raped ... how does my body know its a "legitimate rape" to shut itself down? What would they say about the woman who has severe emotional trauma from a rape (if it is legitimate and she wasn't asking for it of course (sarcasm just incase you cant read into it)) who concieves a child and can not handle the burden every day?
what does it matter what doctors he spoke to, wait I would like to know too so that I wouldnt happen to slip up and go to one of them. The simple fact that he voiced that opinion is enough to keep me from even considering voting for him. There is a difference between being legitimately against abortion and plainly stupid on the female reproductive system.
