I have to disagree with you wholeheartedly. The Blue Note brings in many contemporary bands and artists, as well as the University. This spring along the University will have Luke Bryan and Jason Aldean, as well as in the past Larry the Cable Guy, Miranda Lambert, heck even Cher (though many years ago) was in Columbia for a concert. As well as hosting a variety of local and indie bands every weekend.
I think converting the theaters at the mall into a concert venue would be a fantastic idea. Maybe we wouldn't get the top 40 most exciting (overplayed) artists, but maybe we would get something new and some variety without having to drive to Columbia, St. Louis, or KC.
I don't know some days having someone else to take my husband off my hands and let them be annoyed by him sounds like a good idea. Maybe I could get my house completely clean for once :)
I just hope they plan on donating this meat to a charity or Share the Harvest. If its just disposed of that is such a waste!
And holy crud where are you seeing herds of 100+ deer!!! I know a couple hunters that would like in on that secret!
I believe your Maries County Sheriff candidates are incorrect.
Knowing how to drive.. they think roundabouts are bad wait for the first snow!! People suddenly panic "omg whats this white stuff on the ground I must drive faster!!!"
The thing is eileen that the new living arrangements do not discriminate to what you "are". Anyone can come into the dorms as a resident. It presents another oppertunity for living arrangements. No where in the article does it say "Gay only" or "Transgendered only" (read up they aren't always used interchangably).
Oh so because its not chartered national discrimination its different? If you read the article ANYONE can live in the community. EVERY student should have a place that they feel comfortable living, no one is forcing other students to live here, and it allows for someone who may be different by "the majoritys" standard to have a safe and accepting place to live. What harm is that doing anyone.
How is it hatred to want to live with like minded people where you feel comfortable. Then I suppose fraternities are full of hatred as well seeing as they don't let just anyone live with them, only the ones that they choose.
I would assume you had bottled water or some sort of drinking water available to you in enough quantities for each employee however correct? And not flusing toilets (and i believe theres only.... 7 - 10/ per gender total stalls open for all 1500-2000 people to use) can get a little nasty.
The cole county jail is transporting in water for the inmates. Funny employees in the Truman Building can't even get a glass from the fountain due to the boil order. isn't there OSHA regulations against that?
