Tigger - in this country you are usually innocent until proven guilty and the "Catholic community" is not blind - we would just like to see the priests who are accused actually given a fair trial. Too often, once they are accused now, it is over.
And really, just ONCE, could SNAP say something positive? This man has been a priest for decades and the diocese reacted immediately to non-specific charges that may or may not be true by taking him out of service. The problem with SNAP is they wouldn't be happy even if every priest, bishop, cardinal and the Pope were just lined up and shot whether they are guilty of anything or not.
