I wasn't aware that the Fair Labor Standards Act was voted on by the public? That's rather like saying "the vote" brought us Obamacare...
So are you praising Energizer for closing the plant, or damning them? First you say "thank Obamanomics" for Energizer's situation, then you claim (decrease in battery demand) was only a pretext to close the plant, and then you reference Energizer's increasing profits (which are coming from other markets). So, is Energizer more profitable because of Obama, or are they cutting jobs because of Obama, or, is every single action in today's economy somehow directly Obama's fault?
How in the heck to you get that this is "left wing ideology" at work here? It's left wing to stand behind your beliefs and refuse money from a source that you don't agree with?
I'm pretty sure Akin lost because of his view on female anatomy, NOT his view on abortion.
So you rely on Medicaid payments for all of your business income? Or at least some other government program for your income? Perhaps charging some of that $30 back to your clients/patients/customers would help.
I think it's already BEEN proven that being a pedophile is part of who that person is. The difference being, a pedophile (if they act upon their urges) forces those feelings upon another person who hasn't given (or is unable to give) their consent.
Your argument about gay rights leading to pedophile rights are simply scare tacticts.
So are you saying pedophillia, being a rapist, or being a psychopath ISN'T because of nature?
How are you taking a 30% cut? As a small business owner, you're already paying about 35% (ballparking the figure for simplicity) of your profit in taxes. So now you're saying that instead of taking home 65%, you're only taking home 45% of your profit (by giving up 30% of your already reduced net) (65%-(65%*30%)).
What did Obama do to cause that? Or are you saying that Obama is making your business slower, that it's his fault you're losing customers?
I'm confused by what you're wanting... According to the arcitle, Marvin Register took blame for his staff, saying his office ("they") miscalculated. He's the responsible party, and that's what the article states.
Do you want Marvin to throw one of his employees under the bus? He's the boss, he took blame. End of story.
