The problem here is that "our" senators and representatives have already voted on and passed legislation to ammend the helmet law (SB 202) in 2009, olny to have it "vetoed" by Jay Nixon. All I want to know is what happened to our government "of the people, by the people, and for the people"? Why do we have representatives in Jefferson City if their votes (our voices) don't matter anyway?
While I cannot say in good conscience that riding a motorcycle without a helmet is "a good idea", I believe with every part of my being that it should be "a choice" not a "govenrment mandate".
