So tell me again how this company did all this on their OWN? This kind of help was what Obama was talking about when he said they did not build their company by themselves! SO explain that, 2 million is a pretty good help.

Graceful,, long enough you have spouted what YOU think or want, be of open mind for once. These are accurate statements from the London AP. I suppose if FOX would say something it would have been worthy. For once could you have an open mind on FACTS and go from there instead of trying to be a consultant for the GOP and what you wished they said. Real people do make mistakes while talking,, and it would be fresh to show that one can be humble! That is what the good Lord has asked of us, not to be perfect. Spin that.

And this is one big problem. Whenever a business finally makes corrections for pollution they want paid. The facts are we should have been fining them for their past selfish behavior. A pure case of big money-bigger lawyers even taking this to court costs us as tax payers. But that is a hidden cost.

As far as blocking content, there should be some sites blocked do to a malicious or dangerous subject. I can see that many feel that we all need some blocking to save us from our own independant thinking. Sometimes a few of us visit some sites just to see a different point of view. Not letting it sway our opinion or consept we already have. Being ignorant on a subject might be considered as putting ones head in the sand. Unlike graceful,,I like to be totally informed on the subject before spewing hate and disgust towards what others think that may be different from my our opinions. Blocking us from material that we may learn from will give us a closed mind.Letting fear consume you could make you a scared person. Those will hate and complain about anything different from their own mindset. I do not wish that in our FREE country.

I read this whole thing and listened to them rant about tax cuts. Then say the govenor should be the one telling them where to get or cut the money from. They insist he should tell them. I can't wait for that to happen. I will bet the farm, if and when the govenor does,,they will not accept it or want to change it. Just another way to show our children how not to act. They are getting paid for a job,,,so do it!

If you would pay attention, there is a rason to allow some "bad" element business' operate. The police can locate the bad ones and coral them. If not they will be all over town. Everyone thinks all this radical action comes from out of towners, but in reality home town folks start just as much stuff. Face it folks,,you can't keep a small town ideals and have that big-city growth. Just keep sweeping the statistics under the rug!

I bet the farm that JCsleeper has his insurance and is happy with it. The GOP had a very similar healthcare package just a few years ago. But once again if it ain't the GOP's idea then it has to be bad. The facts are healthcare is through the roof. All the loopholes that even if you have care they may not cover it. Prices for meds and precedures are out of hand. Life and death should not depend on how rich you are. But we money talks!

I say impound the car and the driver. Sell the auto for his transport bank to the border. We have to stop being so easy to these folks. They have nothing to lose and everything to gain. Just what do you think happens when they have a wreck that is their fault? I am not a hater but we as regular citizons have so much to lose,, be it crime or all the under the table wage earners. All those "job creators" need to pay a normal wage.

TheRickster 2 years, 3 months ago on EPA tells nation’s dirty power plants to clean up

Graceful,,and anyone else that wants to play political football with our environment, please stop! I am old enough to remember some of the water ways that almost killed all the fish and wildlife. Being from the pollution dumped, filtered, or seeped from big business, and factories. I am happy to notice how most people do care about our water. Ponds, lakes, and streams are the heartbeat of all living, breathing things. I would like to have our children and generations to come know that we didn't cause an early demise to any part of our environment. The 70's is when we wised up and started to rope in some pollution from many areas. This is one subject I won't let graceful pretend that Obama caused all the evil in our world. Regulations are needed in many parts of our lives today. Why should "big business" get a pass on regulations?Banks showed us all how trustworthy money grubbers are.
