60 Minutes did a piece on the book and interviewed the author. They televised it last night. Very interesting piece. If you haven't seen it, you should see if you can find a recording of it on the web. The author stated that he did not do this for glory or fame but for getting the truth out. He said that he has the support of his SEAL mates, and did not violate any non-disclosure agreements or reveal any top-secret information. He also stated that most of the profits from the book will be going to charities.

Sorry, but I have to disagree why people vote for who they did vote for. Sometimes its name recognition and other times its the lesser of the evils. Not because the person represents their interests. That's why candidates spend big bucks just to get their name recognized.

A Franklin County deputy saw a car driving slowly and crossing a shoulder line around 12:00 a.m. Friday on Highway 47. The deputy tried to pull over the car as it swerved but the driver would not stop. Authorities say the driver sped off blowing through two traffic lights on Highway 47.
The driver tried to make a right turn onto Highway 100 but lost control of the car and hit Aubrey Nothum who was sitting at a stop light at Highway 100 and Highway 47. Nothum was taken to Mercy Hospital in Washington, Mo and later transferred to Mercy Hospital in Creve Coeur where is was later pronounced dead.
Authorities say the juvenile stole her parents car and took her brother with her. She could face Second Degree murder charges
