You're right. Only your opinion is worthy of reading. Please excuse me from submitting mine in an online forum, where, apparently, it is not ok to do so. I'm not outraged, by the way, I don't know how one could even infer that from my post. I'm just stating my opinion of another nanny state agenda, period. I read the bill, it is one that will affect myself, my family, and many friends, so I thought I had a right to comment.
This is rural Missouri. This is how a lot of kids grow up. Accidents happen everywhere for many reasons. I guess we should make the driving age 21, that way overbearing parents can have a few more years to keep their kids on the nip. If more kids worked on farms, we might have a little more hope for the future, when we will undoubtedly need farmers. If this overprotective nanny state agenda doesn't stop, we will become weaker and weaker as a country, eventually we will be overrun. This is not some crazy conspiracy theory, this is what WILL happen if something doesn't change soon.
At least one lawmaker is trying to do something good for his constituents.
Sounds good. All I know is that since they've been done, it's been safer.
Why doesn't JC just go ahead and update the charter by implementing sharia law? Every time I read something like this, I imagine the "leaders" of JC in a circle, mouths afoam, snarling, rocks in hand, ready to punish the evil-doer who so unabashedly bared a portion of skin to the masses. This single unscrupulous act by the artist and client, if not unpunished, could no doubt lead to mass hysteria, disease, crime, drugs, non-missionary relations, zombie feral animals, and maybe even spontaneous human combustion. Time to step out of the Dark Ages.
I live south of JC near Brazito. I think they've worked GREAT so far. I haven't had any close calls, or seen any since the construction has been finished. I was skeptical too, but I just can't complain after seeing the results.
“Everybody’s going to blame the quarterback because most people don’t know what’s going on.”
What a great comment by Pinkel. I love it.
Keep trying to justify it. $72/hr, to eat and sleep, working for the state?!?! LOL, how can anyone believe this is ok? Wake up, ARC. Medical degree or not, $72/hr is simply unacceptable, especially when there are other state workers doing more dangerous jobs and making $10-15/hr, IF they are lucky.
Petunia, sounds like you need to remove the wool that someone put over your eyes. Is there anything being done in Jefferson City that isn't serving the self-indulgent elite faction?
How long til the JC cartel follows suit? I won't hold my breath.
