Correct, the sewer should have been done a long time ago, would have saved me a few grand if it had since they will be redoing the improper job done when the city first took over. There is one place in Holts Summit to get a drink. I have been once with 2 buddies. It was perfect. it wasnt crowded (maybe 10 people and we were 3). Quiet, we could play pool and actually hear each other talk. I hate Jeff city bars, and refuse to go to them. The only thing close ill go to is Phennys, and its mostly a restaurant (and REAL good).
Mia, if your not in law enforcement dont knock them. you dont have any idea what its really like for them. i suggest requesting a citizen ride along to get some knowledge.....on a BUSY night.
Many places here are becoming MUCH better, what people dont understand is that HS has a SMALLER police force than Jeff city. So many of the KNOWN bad guys that JCPD know by face are having a hard time getting by with things. MANY have moved up here to get away from JCPD for the smaller police department. This isnt assumption, its just plain fact.
Sounds Crppy to me. The leader sounds pretty much like any TRUE believer of faith. Its crp it happened and we need to forgive instead of hate and leave the rest to god. We could use more GOOD religions, whether people believe in them or not it leads to being a better person if followed properly.
65k? isn't that kind of a cheap bond? My guess would be its out in the county somewhere or they are just the mules considering they had meth as well.. Since callaway co is pretty big it would be safer than growing it indoors. Tonto, i have a feeling that 17 yr old may STILL be selling it in school, either himself or by friends. It was easily available when i was in school and i went to private school. Glad to see it off the streets, good job guys you dont get enough credit.
has nothing to do with religion. all people incarcerated are treated the same. NOTHING should be allowed in facilities except what is issued. if they want to purchase a "molded" or safety head dress one should be allowed to be ordered from commissary. BUT allowing anything inside is a danger to other inmates and staff. firm, FAIR, and consistent is what we were told.
i don't know anything more than anyone else, i think its a bunch of garbage but not surprised a bit. Were a small town so they think were to dumb to notice. but joke will be on them when all the decent law abiding citizens find somewhere else to call home.
The town has gone to cr-p in the few years i've lived up there. I have seen more and more of the "regular" crooks from JC move up there to get away from the PD since Holts Summit staff is to small to handle it.
jcmo2: 2 officers in the same car could be for a number of reasons (reserve ride alongs, training, saving on the gas budget for higher patrol months coming, vehicle shortage due to maintenance, its not unusual) Its also a good idea on your heavy domestic violence nights (YES, certain nights of the week are KNOWN to be higher than others!) for safety reasons.
We are moving out as soon as possible, but trying to SELL a house there in this market right now.....i'll wait it out.
I can suport making healthcare cover the cost of birth control, making insurance compaines cover it. BUT, i DO NOT think ANY employer should be mandated to cover it, no matter if it is religious or not. An employer is not responsible for your choices, period. Wether it is the mans or womans responsibility to take care of the birth control is moot, it takes 2 to tango. Both are agreeing to the act. So if they are mature enough to do the deed, i think they should be mature enough to discuss the issue of birth control and who is going to take care of it.
LOVE MY KIDS: you were wronged by the doctors. You had the means to pay for a procedure, and had made the choice. NO doctor should refuse you that! I can understand them giving you their opinion and saying your choice is against thier better opinion, but they still need to give you the procedure. PERSONALLY i think either surgery should be covered by medical insurance. IF you want to make sure you never have any/anymore children lets help make that happen. I'd get a vasectomy tomorrow if it were covered. I think it should be offered as a free service to those on medicaid along with the choice of birth control.
The bars downtown REQUEST JCPD be there when they let out. They understand the true role of the police is to serve and protect. No one at these "after hours" places wants the "po-po" there to ruin their thug time. I say the city gives them a warning that if it happens again they will pull their business license and ban these "types" of clubs from opening in the city/county. nothing there has ever been worth the water in the toilet.
Funny thing i its connected to a bar that (as well as i can recall) hasnt had any trouble and they serve alcohol......
"It demonstrates well how this state has always been a bottom feeder low dollar employer and provider of inferior services. "
Its a prison, its should be inferior service. Kentheco was right on one thing, our current system doesn't scare anyone. If prison is the worst we have and it isnt a deterrent something is wrong. Maybe public punishment wouldn't be such a bad idea. Like covering thieves in a bright blue body paint (on local live tv as well) that doesnt wear off for a few months so every where they go everyone knows their a thief! The prison id old and ugly, but it is a part of not just Missouri but American history and some parts should be saved.
my point was i could see her doing abnormal things but to say the brutal death of a little girl by your hand was above amazing makes me think its more than that. Also, yes the 2nd grave to my understanding was intended for another victim.
the fact she scratched it out makes me think less of remorse and more towards not wanting to get caught
