With the high winds this morning, I'm glad that our kids didn't have to ride in a high-profile school bus. No, there wasn't much snow, but school buses are hard enough to control in the wind without adding slick roads to the equation. Not to mention the people who don't think that "a little bit of snow" is a big deal seem to be the ones that usually cause the wrecks!
Does anyone else find it ironic that they want to put tornado survivors in a trailer park? That should make them feel extremely safe and well cared for, huh? Sheesh!!!!
I just want to thank Mr. Skelton for his years of dedicated service to his constituents and this country. As Chairman of the Senate Armed Service Committee, he did a lot for this country during some very hard times. Oh, and he did stand up to Obama and Pelosi - he voted NO to healthcare. That took a lot of guts for a democrat to stand up to those two. Thanks again Mr. Skelton. You deserve a standing O!
I have one. Let the State employees off the day after Thanksgiving. Having one of the biggest pools of employees in this town unable to participate in Black Friday won't do much for our local businesses. Seriously, quit punishing state workers for the bad economy. We need their business!
Another example of just how lucky we are in JC to have great teacher's and adminitrator's leading by example. This teachs our children that giving back to the community and trying to help others is important. My daughter is a student at LCMS and is so proud of Dr. Sharp! Go Trailblazers!
