That's just mean. It is obvious Lincoln is attempting to improve the campus and appeal to more students who want to reveive thier education there. With that, hopefully a restructured athletic department will come naturally. I think they deserve a pat on the back for moving forward rather than staying idle.
I agree with if the public doesn't want these stores open on Holidays, than we should stop attending. But, it is my choice to purchase the $98 piece of junk. To me its not a piece of junk. It will most likely work just like the more expensieve ones...as I know for a fact...I have had a TV for 5 years that I purchased on a SUPER SALE of equivilent stature and it is working just fine. Why pay full price if you don't have to?
I'm so proud of my husband and father-in-law!
What is supposed to come of this conference center. I'm not in favor of it really. The only benefit I would receive is possibly being able to park in the propsed parking garage. But I'm sure that would fall flat...only allowing administrative level positions park there, etc. I never really heard what the conference center is supposed to provide the city that the current hotels that have accomodations can't.
I too am in favor of the "acadamey like" cirriculum. I graduated in 1999. My high school education, and I could also say about my education from kindergarden thru high school...I learned more on my own and from my parents than I did in class. I hope this is a step towards better education for our children.
I love the Apple Festival, but I'm not a fan of the Jamacian theme at all. The theme should be APPLES (hence the name!) and all that Autumn bestows. But either way, I'm sure it will be a great time.
Ok so she has ADD. So what? What child doesn't these days? The article is written in a way like ADD is a handicap. Just because she has ADD doesn't mean the girl couldn't comprehend what the other students were doing. I'm not saying what these students did is right, but punishment on the same level as bullying is too harsh. The school should look at this as a flaw on thier behalf. Any student who is nominated, should be notified of the nomination before the votes are counted. This way, the school can insure that the nomination is in fact honest. And spelchek...that's not even funny.
Kind of like Iraqui grocery store owner you think is a Terrorist?
