Decide if they WANT to adequately fund services? Really? Maybe they WANT to adequately fund their groceries, utlilities, residence, insurance and the JC Oil Cartel. City leaders are SO out of touch with most of the residents of this town. Why would youth not want to relocate? That $15 pay raise state employees are getting will certainly be a huge boost to local tax revenues. Think how much sales taxes could be derived if residents weren't paying that extra 10 to 25 cents a gallon for fuel to the local oil cartel. Maybe the city should ask why if they are concerned about loss of sales tax revenue. Maybe the city should not pay consultants to do what should be done by city staff. Maybe they should actively lobby for state pay increases. Why doesn't the Chamber do this? Mabe the city should take care of what they have instead of taking on new ventures. Maybe the city should consider what the ordinary residents struggle with rather than what is good for the elite few. Run children, run.,
