What about protecting themselves at work? Do they need that right? Have you seen the ballasters and blockades at the Truman Building? The state must have a very real fear that Al Quaida or an OKC bomber may attack the state buildings? Not sure I really like the way all of this is going???

Token raise for lowest #50 state employees + firearms in their cars = GOING POSTAL???

For sure, spending more money on consultants to do what we should be able to do ourselves is a HUGE waste of money. Have we EVER implemented anything a consultant suggested?

If the city hall staff, council, and mayor cannot evaluate some proposals, they all need to resign right now. Do you jobs and quit wasting our tax dollars!

JCLifer 5 days, 4 hours ago on Threat of further filibuster kills transportation sales tax for session

The legislators do not have the courage to advance the issue, and the voters are not able to pay any more taxes. Maybe the Jobs bill they all kept talking about during the election campaigns will pass so we can get some good-paying jobs in this state....

Yeah, we have seen lots of success and quality budgeting coming from the White House lately. Can Obama make a bad situation worse? Yes we can!

What is the cost to upgrade the dumpy place to ADA 2010 standards and Title II compliance?
One lawsuit from an injury or a physically disabled person would wipe out any monetary benefit.

It is still a huge blight on the town.
