Agree, Rob. Mo-DOT has a very poor record in Jefferson City. Dix Road Connector, Tri-Level, 54 S-curve, 50/179 interchange, 40mpg "Expressway" with stoplights, no street lights on 50 or 54 through town like other towns like Sedalia and Union, the Dix Road/50 redneck traffic signals hung from wooden poles, etc.
The odds are high that we are going to get another MoDOT engineering living abortion at Lafayette Street too.
Maybe ObamaCare can fix it.
How long is the City Council going to waste time on this loser? Just pull the funding and move on. This project has been nothing but trouble from day one. Quit wasting our limited taxpayer resources on this low-quality, no future mess.
You guys have a much bigger mess to deal with down at the dog pound. The taxpayers ponied up the money and support for the new animal shelter, and the City Hall bungled the operation and is facing a huge mess, loss of confidence, and several lawsuites. Get that mess fixed! It is still a mess.
Thank God they caught it before ObamaCare is fully implemented. At 54, I doubt that the Medical Review Board (Death Panel) would have approved treatment for an older white male. They are not high on the priority lust.
Hope and Change. Here comes a Depression...
I never see any truly disabled people who look like they are living high off the hog. There is abuse but not by these poor folks.
As for all the baby daddies and baby mammas, how about half the benefit unless you get sterylized? That seems like a good solution that gives people a choice.
Femocrats are making women the victim again.

The dog catcher will probably just have to use the gas chamber in the evenings or late at night when no one else is around.
Remember when the JC Fire Dept. used to put up all the nice Christmas Decorations all over town? This town used to be so pretty at Christmas! The lighted trees Uptown were so much better than the flower pots with a sprig of cedar and a small string of lights. This town used to be so nice during the Christmas Holidays.
